Deslistan mi acción (GSHHY) ¿Qué puedo hacer?
Buenas, hace un tiempo que tengo acciones de GSHHY, y por lo visto van a retirar las acciones del mercado americano. Nunca me he encontrado con una situación similar, y por lo visto, me dejan elegir, que me cambien las acciones americanas por las originales en Hong Kong, y tengo una duda, ¿Me van a dar exactamente el mismo número de acciones que tengo actualmente, aunque las acciones originales no tengan el mismo valor? también tengo otra duda ¿Qué pasa si no hago nada? ¿desaparecen las acciones?
El mensaje que he recibido es este:
Holders of Guangshen Railway Company Limited (ADR) are advised that the Company has elected to terminate the Deposit Agreement effective October 22, 2021.
As of the termination time, it is expected that trading of the ADR will cease and the Depositary will halt issuance of the ADR. The Depository's cancellation books, however, will remain open through April 22, 2022 to facilitate conversion of the ADR into the underlying shares for holders wishing to retain their interest in shares of the issuer.
As soon as practicable after April 22, 2022, the Depository shall sell the underlying shares and deliver the net proceeds of any such sale on a pro-rata basis to holders of remaining ADRs, less any applicable cancellation fees and without liability or interest.
Holders are therefore provided with the following choices with respect to their position in the ADR:
- Close out of the ADR holding prior to the termination date
- Take no action and maintain holding of the terminated ADR
- Submit ADR for conversion into underlying shares (requires client election)
Underlying Share Ticker: 525 (China/SEHK)
Please Note: Holders electing to convert the ADR must ensure the account has the necessary trading permissions to hold the underlying asset.
IB will only be offering the conversion of the ADR into the underlying shares on a one-time basis. Any ADR Agent Fees and/or Depository Fees charged when doing the conversion will be passed on to clients.
The deadline to make an election to convert the ADR into the underlying security will be 2021-11-09 @ 13:00.
In the absence of an election, no action will be taken on the position.
