By "allowing" the WMB Bondholders to persue this "fraud" allegation, she's pushing WMI to have to defend themselves.

There's only one way they can do that with any substance.

They'll have to challenge the seizure. They'll say, the OTS said we were all good. We had more than adequate liquidity and capitalization... etc etc.

Weil wanted desperately to NOT have to make these arguments. JPM and the FDIC likewise wanted this to go away quietly and assumed THJMW would just fold and kick the WMB bondholders out, like most of us expected to hear.

But this "fraud" angle is great for us because it will force Weil to have to defend WMI's position, which was... we didn't make misleading statements. The bank was fine. Here are the documents to prove that to the best of our knowledge, we thought we were fine.

There was no intent to defraud anyone. The FDIC seized us, and we still don't know why... Maybe they can explain it to you, Your Honor.

Watch for an amended POR to be filed before the next hearing. That will be best, if not only shot for the guilty parties to keep the secrets secret and to keep the world from finding out what the FDIC did... which was seize a solvent bank with NO liquidity issues

Sobre todo se pone peligroso para el EC, en mi opinión, todo este tiempo que pensabamos que Venable estaba preparando una super moción y demás, no teniamos ni idea ninguno, lo que estaban preparando es darle la patada... Creo que se pone peligroso para el EC, porque hoy la jueza no ha dado el pasaporte a los bonistas wmb y va a obligar meterlos en la saca del nuevo POR, y como todos quieran firmar menos el EC que va a remolque de todo... ya veremos.

Creo que a Venable lo engañó descaradamente Rosen la semana del acuerdo y no se recuperó de ello.
Hace falta un Bufete agresivo, veremos que tal estos. Las referencias no son malas.

El tema está en que son 15 dias lo que tienen, para empaparse de todo...sinceramente creo que se ha perdido un tiempo precioso.

Sin duda, pero con lo que cobran ya pueden hacer horas extras.
Los bonistas WMB indirectamente nos estan soltando un cabo. Estabamos más solos que la una.
No veo un acuerdo con todas las partes menos con el EC o solo pagando un 5% a las preferentes. Quien va a firmar eso?
