ARNA:

Wow, this has been a crazy roller coaster ride. After a recent monster run, $ARNA had a massive bear raid on Friday as shares plummeted from +$12 to $7.80 within seconds . It’s PDUFA is Wednesday (6/27/12) and I expect even more manipulation as we inch closer. I will be shorting it on approval, but will stay small at first because I’m expecting it to become filled with hype. It will likely get coverage on CNBC and other money talk shows, which will cause a surge of dumb money and trigger a ton of short squeezes. I will also be looking to play $OREX and $VVUS as sympathy plays depending on $ARNA’s outcome. On $ARNA approval I will likely short $VVUS. As for $OREX, I will be looking for a possible long entry on Monday morning. No matter if $ARNA is approved or not, I feel like $OREX will run, just like the recent FDA Adcom. If approved, people will look for others that will be the next ‘$ARNA’ ($OREX), and if denied, $OREX’s drug will fundamentally be further along and closer to approval than $ARNA. I will be watching all three very closely.

THLD:

Another Russell addition play, we might see some serious fund buying on this one this week. We played it Friday for a nice gain, and I will look to buy it again on any pull backs. I will also buy the breakout if we crack these recent highs for a quick momo play. This one loves to get a little jumpy.

Sobre ZALICUS, un comentario que me ha gustado:

Yo ya puse un post que la veia con un PO de 19$ si todo le fuera bien a tenor de su potencial de capitalizacion... creo que va a ser el unico valor de mi cartera con el que tendre unos buenos paquetes para el largo plazo, cachondo me pongo solo de pensarlo ...

Si lo de ARNA lo comentamos el viernes, que era un bear raid. Prometeo y alguno más se lo esperaba, pero se equivocó de día. El caso es que a el seguro que no le ha pillado dentro, jeje.

Yo también me lo esperaba pero para hoy y me ha jodido un poco el promedio. El caso que ya ha sido, así que ahora a seguir subiendo.

De THLD desde que la metieron en el Russell tiene mucha mejor pinta. Yo estoy con Enola, que en cuanto rompa se va directa a los 8,8. A ver si se van filtrado los datos de superviviencia global y se anima la cosa, porque está muy lateral.

De todas maneras, para los que entramos allá por AACR, el cambio euro/dolar nos ha venido cojonudo, así que si estás metido, estaras más comodo que en el IBEX que seguira pabajo y sin curvas...

yo lo que tengo claro que lo del viernes fue bueno ese bajon que dio, porque? porque cuando bajo a 8 alguien vendio todo o un paquete muy grande de acciones y fue directo a esos 8, posteriormente se fue directamente hacia arriba con un gran volumen.

Eso significa 2 cosas, 1 rotura de stops y mucha gente con ganas de compra.

yo en thld entre con un primer paquete a 3 y pico y luego a 6, me hace una media justa de 5$ y por aquel entonces el dolar estaba peor que ahora asi que si ya le saco un buen pico... con el cambio divisa lo mejoro aun mas :D

También significa que a mucha gente le "robaron" las acciones. Ni un stop se salvó, por que a ver quién tiene cohones a poner un stop un 20% por debajo...

Lo del dolar lo malo que tiene es que los americanos no van a permitir un dolar fuerte mucho tiempo.
