All residents in the European Union can sign up for bunq. If you are 17 years old or younger, you need permission of your parent or guardian. He/she will have to create a bunq account before you can start using your own.
For a bunq more account you need valid identification and you have to perform an iDEAL or SOFORT deposit with a bank account in your name, so we can verify that it's you. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian can perform the deposit for you.
If you don't have a bank account to complete the deposit with, you can also do a video call to verify your identity. During this English call you'll be asked to show your ID and answer some verification questions
