The final dividend for 2008 will be paid in early 2009. El último dividendo para el ejercicio 2008 se abonará a principios 2009

creo que hoy 4 de julio pagan algo del dividendo

Dear Shareholder
SCRIP DIVIDEND OFFER IN RESPECT OF THE 2008 INTERIM DIVIDEND AND SCRIP
DIVIDEND MANDATE SCHEME
As mentioned in the announcement of our results for the six months to 1 March 2008, your Directors are offering
you the choice of taking the interim dividend of 2.5p per ordinary share payable on 4 July 2008 wholly or partly
in the form of new ordinary shares in the Company rather than cash.
A scrip dividend mandate scheme (“the Scheme”) is also proposed by the Directors. If a mandate form is
completed, all future dividends in respect of which a scrip dividend alternative is offered will automatically be
paid in the form of an allotment of the Company’s new Ordinary Shares, with effect from the 2008 interim
dividend until the mandate is cancelled. Shareholders who wish to continue to receive cash dividends on their
shares need take no action.
The Scheme proposed by the Directors would enable shareholders to increase their holdings in the Company
without incurring dealing costs or stamp duty. An advantage to the Company is that it too would benefit by
retaining the cash which would otherwise be paid out as dividends.
The introduction of the Scheme is subject to shareholder approval. A Notice of Meeting convening the required
general meeting together with a separate circular which outlines how the Scheme would operate is enclosed for
your consideration.
If all eligible shareholders in the Company elect to join the Scheme in respect of their entire shareholdings in lieu
of the 2008 interim dividend payable on 4 July 2008, then it is anticipated that 32,910,895 new Ordinary Shares
would be issued under the Scheme, representing 3.8% of the issued share capital as at that date. This has been
calculated using the share price at the close of business on 2 May 2008 being the latest practicable date before
the publication of this letter. The actual share price which will be used to calculate the allocation of shares in lieu
of a cash dividend will be the average share price of the Company during the period 4 June 2008 to 10 June 2008.
The total cost of the interim dividend if paid wholly in cash would be £21.4m.
If you decide that you would like to receive new ordinary shares in the Company rather than all or part of your
cash entitlement in respect of the interim dividend of 2.5p per share and all future dividends, please complete and
return the enclosed form of election / mandate to the Company’s Registrar so as to be received no later than Friday
6 June 2008. Forms received after that date will apply to future dividends paid by the Company.
Yours sincerely,
[
