Solidarity consults with ArcelorMittal regarding proposed closing of Vereeniging plant Trade union Solidarity today deplored the proposed closing of ArcelorMittal’s Vereeniging plant. This follows after the country’s largest steel producer announced today that it was considering shutting down its Vereeniging plant. “According to management, the closing of the Vereeniging Steel Mill will affect approximately 1 200 employees including contractors,” Marius Croucamp, head of Solidarity’s Communication Industry, said. Although Solidarity has not yet received any formal notice, the trade union is already actively participating in consultation talks with the steel producer. The trade union said that it would do everything in its power to minimise the impact of the possible retrenchments on its members. Solidarity maintains that job security should be protected at all costs. Yo tenía Arcelor a 10.81€, el 07/07 y 08/07 entré a 7.91€ y 7.96€ respectivamente para obtener un precio medio de 9.53€ Veremos qué dice el tiempo.

Yo entré el 31/03 a 8,815€ y salí hoy a 8,95€ tras la noticia de CityBank, no porque los crea, sino porque esperaba una salida de dinero como reacción. Volvería a entrar a 8,75-8,8€ ¿Tocará los 8,6€?

Desconocía esta noticia: ArcelorMittal : compte investir plusieurs millions d'euros sur ses sites en France 01/04/2015 | 11:41 ArcelorMittal (MT.FR) a annoncé mercredi qu'il allait investir 40 millions d'euros en 2015 sur son site de Fos-sur-Mer et consacrer "plusieurs millions" d'euros pour accroître la production de son site de Creusot. A Fos-sur-Mer, ArcelorMittal compte réaliser des projets de modernisation et de protection de l'environnement au niveau de la cokerie et du train à bandes. "L'usine tourne aujourd'hui à plein régime et s'organise pour monter en production", a indiqué le groupe dans un communiqué. Depuis 2000, le site de Fos a bénéficié d'investissements s'élevant à près d'un milliard d'euros, a ajouté ArcelorMittal. Au Creusot, le groupe va investir pour augmenter sa production afin de répondre à une commande de fourniture pour un projet pétrolier au Kazakhstan. Industeel, une filiale d'ArcelorMittal spécialisée dans la production de lingots et de tôles, a été choisie pour fournir 15.000 tonnes de tôles plaquées au projet Kashagan.
