Son buenos gestores y seguro que buenas personas, pero tienen horchata en las venas, que aburrimiento....hasta el propio Paramés con su tono discreto capta más atenciónMenos mal que la explicación del Bestinver Hedge ha sido más entretenida!

Aryzta draws interest from Elliott Management; US arm earmarked for sale - reports29 AUG 2020Aryzta [SWX:ARYN], a Switzerland-headquartered baked goods company, is being considered for a bid by investment firm Elliott Management Corp, a newswire report said, citing sources familiar with the situation. A bid from Elliott is not a certainty and the consideration of a deal has yet to proceed past the initial stage, Bloomberg reported.PE firms Cerberus Capital Management and Apollo Global Management [NYSE:APO], and the Canada-based baking group George Weston [TSE:WN], are also reported to be interested in Aryzta.Rothschild was engaged by Aryzta earlier this year to carry out a strategic review, the report noted. The Swiss baking group revealed in July that it had received unsolicited approaches from a number of parties, the item reported.The Irish Times reported that Aryzta declined to discuss a Swiss article saying the company intends to divest its US operations.  Aryzta's Australian operations eyed by private equity – report20 AUG 2020Private equity suitors are believed to be eyeing Switzerland-based bakery business Aryzta’s Australian operations, The Australian reported.Private equity players are thought to be taking a close look at the Aryzta division, anticipating that it will be sold by the parent, the paper’s Dataroom column reported, without citing sources.The item noted that Pacific Equity Partners (PEP) and Adamantem Capital, which both have expertise in the food services sector, are considered logical buyers for the asset.By some estimations Aryzta ’s Australian business could be sold for AUD 200m (USD 144m), the report said.The article noted that overseas reports have suggested that Aryzta, which is facing pressure from activist investors due a decline in share value, has seen approaches from buyers interested in a takeover.Aryzta generated FY19 EBITDA of EUR 307.5m of which EUR 167.7m came from Europe, EUR 97.99m came from North America, and EUR 41.8m came from the rest of the world, the item noted.Link to original source
