Credit: Reuters/Robert Sorbo NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. regulators did not properly supervise Washington Mutual Inc, even as the savings and loan began to crumble because of the subprime mortgage crisis, a federal investigation concluded, the New York Times reported. U.S. Seattle-based Washington Mutual became the biggest bank failure in history when it filed for bankruptcy in September 2008 at the height of the global financial crisis. Regulators then seized the operation before selling it to JPMorgan Chase & Co for $1.9 billion. The Times reported the investigative report found that two agencies overseeing Washington Mutual "feuded so much that they could not even agree to deem the company 'unsafe and unsound' until September 18, 2008" -- when it was too late to save the bank. The Times said it obtained a draft of a report prepared by the inspectors general for the U.S. Treasury Department and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The report is expected to be released on Friday, coinciding with hearings this week by the Senate Subcommittee on investigations into Washington Mutual. The key factor in Washington Mutual's failure was "management's pursuit of a high-risk lending strategy that included liberal underwriting standards and inadequate risk controls," the report said, according to The Times. Llevo un tiempo haciéndome una pregunta que por (quizás) absurda no os he hecho hasta ahora, y es que en el caso de que se acordara que nos dieran 1$ o 2$ o lo que fuera por las acciones, en ese momento se acaba todo este "juego", no? Quiero decir, se acuerda un precio y punto. Y a partir de ahí desaparece el valor "wamuq" y nos reembolsan el equivalente en nuestras cuentas o qué pasa? Perdonad la estúpida pregunta pero si no la hago reviento ;) Pd: en rojo, después de todo.

Esto es increíble, a las 20'15 me fui a la calle dejando la cotización en ascenso pero aún en -6%. Vuelvo ahora pensando a ver qué me encuentro, y me veo un +19%, jaja, increíble, de verdad. El "juego" que da WAMU no tiene precio. MMmmm... bueno, sí que tiene precio, jaja, pero nos entretiene. Esperemos que mañana siga subiendo y así hasta la subida final xD

Una cosita: a ver si me podéis decir dónde seguís la evolución del mercado en tiempo real, por favor. Yo entiendo tan poquito de esto q lo veo siempre con 15 mins de retraso en google finances, jeje. Gracias por adelantado!

Yo tb al 100% en comunes y hasta el final. Si sale bien, perfecto, y si sale mal, mala suerte. Tampoco tengo ninguna barbaridad invertida, sinceramente. LAs compré a 0'21.
