Washington Mutual demanda a la FDIC por 17 billones US$ + daños

¿pero las TPS no están respaldadas de sobra por assets que fueron a parar a JPM? Aquí es donde se supone que entra en juego el famoso timing del día de la intervención de Wamu.

Si la transferencia de los assets que respaldaban las TPS fue fraudulenta (se supone que se transfirieron el mísmo día de la intervención, lo cual no sería legal) esos assets deberían de volver a WMI y habría para pagar las TPS y lo que sobrara iría a parar a la equidad.

Si la transferencia de esos assets fue correcta, con los assets se irían tambien las obligaciones de las TPS, de manera que en principio se tiene que hacer cargo de ellos FDIC, que lo podría derivar a JPM.

Salvo que esos assets no sean tan valiosos como dice la gente, creo que esto es positivo para la equidad...

Nov 1st como fecha final para entregar todo. Parece que estan indagando como esperabamos.

Por lo que vi, se pide más gente, más tiempo y el informe final para el 1 de noviembre. Pinta bien, parece que algo ha encontrado.

"...the Examiner has obtained the production of thousands of additional documents since his appointment. The Examiner has also interviewed more than twenty individuals consider to be fact witnesses. These interviews have included current and former employees of the Debtors, current employees of JPMC, individuals associated with government agencies and current employees of certain third parties. Most of these interviews have been conducted in person...Finally, the Examiner has also conducted substantial legal research...JPMC has also made several of its employees, including its senior management involved in the purchase of WMB, available to the Examiner for interviews.
